While travelling by road, you can enter Nepal from following border points:

• Kakarbhitta (Eastern Nepal) with Panitanki in Indian side in state of West Bengal. Kakarbhitta is a small town on the border between Nepal and India which is about 15 - 17 hours (610 kms) away from Kathmandu and about an hour drive from Siliguri. The closest airport is at Bhadrapur, which is about 25 kms from there. The flight from Bhadrapur takes about 45 mins to land in Kathmandu.
• Biratnagar with Jogbani in Indian side in state of Bihar. Biratnagar lies 399 kms away from Kathmandu and 6 kms of Indian Border. The Airport at Biratnagar has frequent flights to Kathmandu and to other airports in Nepal. It takes about 35 Mins to reach Kathmandu from Biratnagar by flight. Indian rail lines ends at Jogbani which has direct trains to Katihar, Kolkata and New Delhi.
• Birgunj (Central Nepal) with Raxaul in Indian side in state of Bihar. For Indian tourists Birgunj known as the "Gateway to Nepal" is the main entry point to Nepal by land especially coming from Kolkata and Patna. It is about 210 kms from Kathmandu and is connected to Raxaul by rail. Raxaul station & Sugauli station (17 miles from Raxaul) is well connected by train to major cities in India. Simara which is about 20 km from Birgunj is the nearest airport and it takes about 20 minutes to reach Kathmandu by air.
• Bhairahawa (Western Nepal) with Sunali in Indian Side in state of Uttar Pradesh - Bhairahawa also known as Siddharthanagar, is about 9 hours drive and 280 kms from Kathmandu. It is gateway to Lumbini, the birth place of Lord Buddha. It takes about 30 minutes to reach Kathmandu from Bhairahawa by flight.
• Nepalgunj (Western Nepal) with Rupaidiha in Indian Side in state of Uttar Pradesh. Nepalgunj is about 13 hours drive and 530 kms away from Kathmandu and is connected by direct flights to Kathmandu.
• Dhangadhi (Western Nepal) with Gauriphanta in Indian Side in state of Uttar Pradesh. Dhanghadi is about 660 Kms away from Kathmandu. It is mainly used by people of Delhi which is about 6 hours drive to travel to Nepal.
• Mahendranagar (Western Nepal) with Banbasa in Indian Side in Uttarakhand - Mahendranagar is a small town which is about 18-19 hours drive and 695 kms from Kathmandu.

There are two railway lines operational in Nepal.

• Raxaul - Sirsiya: This is 6 Km long line from Raxaul (India) to Sirsiya Inland Container Depot near Birganj mainly used for freight transport.
• Jayanagar - Janakpur: This is 53 Km long line from Jayanagar (India) to Janakpur mainly used by passengers.

(Distance: 186 kms. / Driving Time: 6 hrs. / Altitude of Chitwan: 415 mts.) After breakfast, you will be transferred to Chitwan. On arrival check in to the lodge/resort. Rest of the day free for leisure. Overnight stay at the lodge/resort in Chitwan

Early in the morning you would be taken for Elephant Safari. Later after breakfast, you would be doing following activities - Dugout Canoe Ride, Elephant Breeding Centre/ Crocodile Breeding Centre, Village walk. After the completion of the walk, you would be taken back to the lodge/resort. In the evening enjoy “Tharu Tribal Dance” presented by the local Tharu villagers. Overnight stay at Chitwan National Park.

(Distance: 165 kms. / Driving Time: 5 hrs. / Altitude of Pokhara: 827 mts.)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Pokhara. On arrival in Pokhara, check in at the hotel. Evening free for leisure. Weather permitting you have an option of either going for a walk near the lake or going for boating over Phewa Lake on direct payment basis. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pokhara.

Early in the morning you will be taken to Sarangkot, a village just above Pokhara and about 13 Kms away from Lakeside which is famous for great views of Himalayas and of Pokhara Valley on clear days weather permitting. It takes about 45 to 60 minutes drive from Pokhara to reach the place. Later in the day visit Vindyavasini Temple, David's Fall and Gupteshwar Mahadev Caves. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pokhara.

(Distance: 210 kms. / Driving Time: 6 hrs. / Altitude of Kathmandu: 1400 mts.)
After breakfast, you would be transferred to Kathmandu. On the way you can visit Manakamana Temple. You can reach the temple by taking the cable car ride on direct payment basis. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Rest of the day free for personal activities like exploring Thamel, a major shopping hub, on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kathmandu

After breakfast, you would visit Patan Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple). Later you will be transferred to the Airport for your return journey.

• Please further note that lot of hotels in Nagarkot, Pokhara & Chitwan do not have lift. In case you have any health related issues due to which you cannot climb higher floors, please inform us immediately at the time of confirmations so that we can take necessary actions.
• Most of the rooms in all hotels at Nepal are twin bedded rooms. Very limited rooms have king size bed. King size bedded rooms will be provided subject to availability only. If the same is unavailable we shall provide twin bedded rooms only.
• Categories of Rooms in the packages are based on base category of rooms, unless specified.
• Most of hotels in other cities do not match the standards of hotels in Kathmandu & Pokhara. Please do not expect luxury facilities while travelling to other areas. If the guests are unable to compromise on comfort than such places of travel should not be a part of the itinerary.
• Normal check-in time at Hotel is 1400 Hrs & Check-out time is 1100 Hrs. All requests for early check in / late checkout / extending of stay, will be solely at the discretion of the hotels and shall be subjected to the rooms availability. A valid photo ID proof for all guests staying at the hotel is mandatory.
• For Extra Person Sharing the Room & Child with Extra Bed, almost all the hotels provides MATTRESS and ROLL AWAY BEDS as a supplement to Extra Bed.
• In case of group or incentive travels, all the rooms provided may not be of same size and category.
• In the hills, scarcity of water & power-cut is a natural phenomena. In case of power-cut, the hotels provides power backup to emergency & common areas. Under such situation, hot water will be provided to the guest in bucket or the guests may have to work with Candle Light. Request you to kindly bear with such situation. We strongly regret for such inconvenience.
• We reserves the right to re-arrange itinerary to suit hotel availability without changing the total number of days in each destination and without compromising with any services.

• Vehicles in Nepal are not on disposal basis. To make the full use of the day and to complete the itinerary within the scheduled time, the guests must follow the timings as given by our local representative.
• Chitwan being a jungle, vehicles for transfers and jungle activities are provided by hotels, lodges and resorts. These vehicles may be of different categories to what has been provided in the voucher and other places. They may also not have air condition facilities.
• Our standard packages for Nepal do not include guide. If the guests wants a guide, a specific request has to be made via email. For such guides, extra supplemental charges will be applicable.
• In case of any operational or mechanical problems, we reserve the right to change the vehicle in between the tour.
• In case any sightseeing is closed on any particular day, we shall make arrangements to provide alternate sightseeing on the same day.
• It is requested that the guests are soft and gentle with the drivers. The driver are from remote places and some of them do not know how to speak as they are not educated in tourism etiquette.
• Cancellation – Since the Vehicles are limited in number, cancellation rules will be applicable on the complete tour package including the transport cost.
• Generally, in Nepal because of its location & Altitude, AC are not required hence for the vehicles we write NAC. In the guests insists on AC, Supplement cost as per vehicle selection will be applicable. The AC will be on when the Vehicle is on move only. In case of uphill drive, AC shall be switched off.
• In Pokhara the vehicles from Kathmandu are not allowed to do the sightseeing due to Transportation Union. Hence a local vehicle will be provided for the same.
• As the vehicles may change every please ensure that you do not leave your belongings in the vehicle as there is very little possibility of getting them back. "We in no way will be responsible for the act."
• Please do note that cars in Nepal do not have carriers. When the guests have opted for vehicles like Car (Ford / Fiat / Manza / Swift Dzire / Similar) or like Scorpio / Similar please inform the guest to travel light with minimum baggage. For instance, the dicky of the cars can accommodate 2 large suitcases and one or two small hand bags can fit. In case of excess baggage the guest will have to opt for an extra vehicle for carrying the excess baggage. The cost for this will be directly paid by the guest on the spot.
• If the guests opts for a higher category vehicle instead of what is allotted, than such higher category vehicle shall be provided at extra costs which will be recovered on sport. For instance, guests have been allotted Swift Dezire and later they requests for Scorpio. In such a case, the guests have to pay supplemental charges on the spot.
• If the guests opt for any additional sightseeing, which is not mentioned in the itinerary that additional charges shall be recovered on spot.
• The vehicles provided by us in Nepal are not meant for self drive. Only drivers can drive the vehicles.

• Cancellation Policy – Read the cancellation policy of the hotels as well as of the tour operator.
• Clothes - Remember to carry clothing as per the season and temperature in Nepal during the time of travel. Also remember to carry hiking shoes.
• Currency - Indian travelers can carry Indian Currency in INR 100 denominations or smaller notes into Nepal. Denominations of Rs 500 and above are legally banned in Nepal. Please note that 1 Indian Rupee = 1.6 Nepalese Rupee. Indian Rupee is widely accepted in Nepal.
• Documents - All guests must carry original valid identity proof. Adults must carry original & valid Passport or original Voter ID card. Children must carry original & valid Passport or original birth certificate & school photo ID card. It is seen that guests very often instead of carrying original documents either carry the scanned copy of the document or photocopy of the original. Please remember that Nepal is a foreign country. Anyone not carrying original valid passport or voter I card shall be deported back by the immigrations and not allowed to enter the country.
• Electrical Plugs - All major towns are well connected with electricity that runs on 220/240 volts with round hole two-pin and three-pin power outlets. It is recommended that you bring flat-to-round pin converters for your electronics if necessary, however, most hotels offer multi plug sockets.
• Landslides - Landslides are common occurrence in hilly areas. Any expenses incurred for the modification in the tour shall be directly collected from the guest as per actual expenses.
• Personal belongings - Nepal is a very safe place. Your belongings are safe in hotel/car but on a BAD day, anything could go wrong so we always suggest you to carry your camera, wallet, passport and your valuable goods with you all the time
• Telephone Connections - International Roaming in Nepal is expensive. Please check with your mobile service provider for charges related to Nepal. If you need, its best to use a local sim. Tourists can easily get the tourists sim in Nepal. In order to get the connection they have to submit the copy of the voter I card or the passport together with 2 passport size photographs to the vendor.
• Timing Difference – Nepal is 15 minutes ahead of Indian Standard Time.
