Ayodhya

Early in the morning, we will be taken for a boat ride on the Ganges. It is a mystical and spiritual experience as you watch people offering water to the Sun God and devotees taking holy dip in the Ganges. We will visit all the famous Ghats of Varanasi via boat (optional by own cost). Later visit the most religious KashiVishwanath temple, Annapurna Temple, the Bharat Mata temple, SankatMochan (Hanuman temple), ManasMandir, and Banaras Hindu University. Come back to the hotel for breakfast.

Later at noon, we will be taken for an excursion to Sarnath. Sarnath is the place where Buddha delivered his first sermon to his disciples. The attractions at Sarnath are the Buddha temples, the Dhamekha stupa, Chaukhandi stupa and the archaeological museum.

In the evening, have leisure time for shopping in Varanasi (optional and on your own). Night stay at Hotel in Varanasi.

After breakfast, drive to Prayagraj, check-in at the hotel, see the Sangam (Meeting point) of the three rivers - Ganga, Yamuna &Saraswati. At the point at which the brown Ganges meets the Greenish Yamuna, pandas (priests) perch on small platforms to perform puja and assist the devout in their ritual ablutions in the shallow waters.

Cover the other spots in Allahabad like Hanuman Temple, AnandBhavan - one of the country’s best- running museums in memory of JawaharLal Nehru. SwarajBhawan -the house where the former Prime Minister of India Mrs. Indira Gandhi was born. Overnight stay in Prayagraj.

After breakfast, we will proceed to Ayodhya. Check-in at the hotel. In the evening, enjoy a boat ride on the Sarayu River (at your own expense) and witness the beautiful sunset. Experience the evening Aarti (free of charge) at SarayuGhat- Ram kiPaidi and soak in the spiritual ambiance. Later proceed for Surajkund Laser Show (ticket to be purchased directly).Overnight stay in Ayodhya.

After breakfast, full day local sightseeing of Ayodhya City. It is on the banks of the Gogra (Ghaghara or Saryu) River, bathing in which is supposed to destroy even the sin. Ayodhya, is believed to be the Birth Place of Lord Rama. Ayodhya, during ancient times, was known as Kosaladesa. Remnants of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Islam can still be found in Ayodhya. According to Jain belief, five Tirthankaras were born at Ayodhya, including Adinath (Rishabhadeva), the 1st Tirthankar. Overnight stay in Ayodhya.
